All Hands:
After all of the good news this week we had to end it up on a sad note.
Anne McLin Jones "Mac" to all of us, wife of Robert Jones WWII crew, passed away yesterday January 27, 2012.
Mac was the wife of Bob Jones who was very active in the association years ago. Bob and Mac were the newsletter distributors for years.
Mac died quietly in Nashville, TN

McLin "Anne" Moore Jones, 76, long-time resident of Nashville, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospice.

The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Lounge of Belle Meade United Methodist Church, 212 Davidson Road in Nashville and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Graveside services will be Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Williamsport Cemetery with Rev. David Spencer officiating.

Born and reared in the Williamsport Community in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late William H. Moore and Ester Stallings Moore.  She was a 1953 graduate of Columbia Central High School, Martin Methodist College, and Birmingham Southern College.

She was a long time member of Belle Meade Untied Methodist Church.

Her husband of forty-one yeas, Robert Frederick Jones, passed away June 5, 2003.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Douglas) Alter, of Mountain View, California; a son, Robert Frederick (Karen) Jones, Jr of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Nathan Jones, Ashton John, Evan Jones, Elizabeth Jones, Joshua Atler, and Alex Atler; great grandchildren, Tucker Jones and Madelyn Jones; sister-in-law, Joe Anne Moore of Columbia; several nieces; and loving caregiver, Joyce Lazenby of Nashville.z

She was preceded in death by a brother, William H. Moore, Jr.

Serving as pallbearers are Willis "Sonny" Jones, Jr. Daryl Brown, Craig Greene, Douglas Alter, Nathan Jones, Ashton Jones, Evan Jones, and Jim Mooore.  Honorary pallbearers included Tom Shackelford, Joshua Atler, Alex Atler, Chris Handley, and Bob McEuen.
