With much respect for Jim Spriggs, plank owner and survivor of the kamikaze attacks on April 16, 1945, his wife passed away on August 26, 2011.

Sonny:

My mom died around midnight last night of a heart attack. She was 83. I will let you know about arrangements as soon as they are settled.

My dad is extremely tired -- they had a long day yesterday and then he didn't sleep all night. So David is taking him to his house to rest. Jamie and I are going down this afternoon to help with arrangements etc.

I will be in touch,
Gemma McLuckie
