Actually, the
pictures were more of what has been going on at the ship rather than us working.
I really wanted everyone to see what the steam line and mess deck looked like.
Along with how the Laffey Legacy Room is now looking too.
Another note came
in from Tom Sprowl. They are going to have the new
Video Room in operation by the time we get there for the work party.
I asked him if we could be there to “cut the ribbon” and open it officially.
The visitors from Nuke school are young sailors that
are attending Nuclear Power School in Charleston.
The WWII medals are the one that were bought by our WWII
members that were on E-Bay.
They have finally come to their proper place.
